JEE Main 2016 Application Form

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced regarding JEE Main 2016 through a notification that is containing whole information regarding Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) date, Process for Online Registration, Eligibility Criteria etc. Those who want to apply against JEE Main they must apply by filling the online application form on or before the closing date.


CBSE has taken an authority to conduct the JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Exam, a national level entrance test for giving admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs at NITs, IIITs, Other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions, Institutions funded by participating State Governments, and other Institutions.

Applicants need to qualify this Entrance Exam to get the admittance in the UG courses offered by above said institutes. JEE Main 2016 Notification Details

Qualification required:

Applicants who are going to apply for JEE Main 2016 they are required to possess 12th Exam or any equivalent exam from any recognized university or institute.

Age Limitation:
  • The applying contestants (Gen and OBC) should be born on or after 1st October 1991 and SC/ST/PWD candidates should be born on or after 1st October 1986.
  • No Minimum age criteria has been decided for the candidates.

The selection of the contenders shall be based on the contestant’s performance in in the class 12/equivalent qualifying Examination and in the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main).

How to Fill JEE Main Application Form?
  • Logon the official website that is jeemain.nic.in.
  • Choose the option of ‘Apply for JEE (Main)-2016’ button.
  • Then after follow the section of ‘New candidate’s registration’.
  • After doing so, select the ‘Apply for JEE (Main) – 2016’ tab.
  • Move cursor on the ‘proceed to apply online’ tab, mentioned at the below side of the page.
  • Start to fill the online application form with all required details and Upload essential documents, photo and sign.
  • Make the payment of the application fee and click on the Submit Button.
